Bani Mustafa, UNICEF representative stress database development

AMMAN — Minister of Social Development Wafa Bani Mustafa on Tuesday emphasised the importance of ongoing efforts to digitise the sector and enhance the ministry's administrative information, monitoring and evaluation systems to ensure high-quality services and data, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

In a meeting with the UNICEF representative in Jordan, Philippe Duamelle, Bani Mustafa stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation and programmes between the ministry and UNICEF in social protection and database development.

She praised UNICEF's support for the ministry's social protection sector, especially in developing a database through a survey of social workers. Also discussed were future plans and joint cooperation in the areas of children’s rights, services provided to children in social protection, and sustainability mechanisms for the ministry's projects and programmes with partners, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
