Benefit concert celebrates injured servicemen

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, HH Prince Mired, president of the Hashemite Commission for Disabled Soldiers, on Thursday attended a benefit concert for the commission at the Armed Forces Hotel.

Prince Mired conveyed the King's greetings to injured servicemen and security personnel, expressing His Majesty's pride in their contributions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The prince also affirmed the King's keenness to support injured servicemen.

The benefit concert — also attended by senior officers, injured servicemen and commission members — was held in appreciation of injured army and security personnel and their sacrifices, Petra said.
