AMMAN — HRH Prince Raad, the Chief Chamberlain, on Wednesday night attended a ceremony to launch a book titled "The noble endeavour: Prince Zeid and the Arab government in Damascus (1918-1920)" by Saad Abu Dayeh. At the ceremony, held at Al Hussein Cultural Centre, Prince Raad said the book is a "distinguished achievement" in documenting and analysing the journals of Prince Zeid, son of Sharif Hussein Bin Ali, who led the Great Arab Revolt against Ottoman rule.

HH Prince Firas said that the book is based on important documents that shed light on the Hashemite role in defending Arab causes, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Abu Dayeh said the book relied on documents, photos, statistics and further research on Prince Zeid's military and political role during the Arab Revolt.
