Border troops seize drugs, prevent infiltration attempt

AMMAN — Border Guards on Wednesday night foiled an attempt by three people to infiltrate the Kingdom from Syria, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Thursday, quoting an unnamed army source.
Border Guards applied the rules of engagement with the infiltrators, who escaped into Syrian territories, the source said. After searching the area, army personnel found 229,000 Captagon pills, the source added.
