Business, industry delegation meets South African counterparts

AMMAN — Presidents of the Amman chambers of commerce and industry Issa Murad and Ziad Homsi on Tuesday stressed the importance of developing economic relations with South Africa by increasing commercial exchange, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Wednesday.
Their remarks came during separate meetings held by the Jordanian commercial and industrial delegation with the commerce and industry chambers of Johannesburg and Pretoria.
Murad and Homsi stressed the need to find solutions to customs obstacles facing Jordanian products heading to South Africa, calling for increasing the number of commercial visits between the two countries.
For their part, presidents of the chambers of Johannesburg and Pretoria commended Jordan’s stability, which greatly contributes to boosting commercial and investment cooperation.
