Cabinet decides on Maan Military Hospital, other priorities facing area

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Monday decided on a number of measures aimed at enhancing the development process and the level of services in Maan Governorate, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Cabinet decided to proceed with the implementation of the Maan Military Hospital in the form of financial leasing under agreements to be signed next week with the Social Security Investment Fund.
The Cabinet also decided to supply heating to 5 schools in Maan Governorate by relying on renewable energy during the first phase, and that a group of other schools would be supplied with heating in the second phase.
The Cabinet also approved coordination with provincial councils on grants received by the Ministry of Planning, as well as decided to study the conditions of the Maan Juvenile Centre in order to reopen it and stressed the importance of supporting the work of agricultural cooperative corporations in the governorate.
