AMMAN — The Cabinet on Thursday approved amendments to the civil service system for 2022. The amendments are meant to help the Jordanian Judicial Council and its affiliates conduct the duties entrusted to them by allocating a sufficient number of staff, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
As per the amendments, all employment rights shall be preserved, besides the incentives, allowances and other privileges granted for employees of the Ministry of Justice, including their participation in the Social Solidarity Fund as ministry employees.
The Council of Ministers also approved amendments to the salaries, allowances and public benefits of security personnel for 2022.
The Cabinet also endorsed a reconciliation agreement between the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission, Orange and Umniah, in a move towards supporting and stimulating the mobile sector and licensing fifth-generation frequencies, Petra added.
In an effort to continue supporting the individuals and families who have been affected by the pandemic, Prime Minister Bisher Al Khasawneh decided to extend the Social Security Corporation’s Estidama (sustainability) programme until the end of October 2022.
