Catholic centre commends King’s speech at European Parliament

AMMAN — The Catholic Centre for Studies and Media (CCSM) said on Wednesday it “greatly appreciates the historic and moving speech” delivered by His Majesty King Abdullah at the European Parliament on Tuesday.
In a statement issued by CCSM Director Father Rifat Bader, the centre said the King concentrated on “the need to purify the image of the Islamic religion and the importance of underscoring the Arab Christian identity”.
