Centre offers training to journalists ahead of elections

AMMAN — The Centre for Defending Freedom of Journalists (CDFJ) will hold two training workshops for journalists on independent coverage of the parliamentary elections, according to its president, Nidal Mansour.
Professional media coverage supports democratic and transparent elections, Mansour said at a meeting on Tuesday to develop a manual offering technical guidance on covering elections, which will be distributed to journalists ahead of the vote, slated for September 20. He also highlighted the importance of reporting violations.
