AMMAN — HRH Crown Prince Hussein on Monday instructed concerned agencies to build a decent house for retired corporal Mustafa Jadaan Al Khreshah and fulfil all his needs in recognition of his “noble services” in the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF).
From the US, where he is pursuing his studies, the Crown Prince has ordered Khreshah's needs be met after following up on his case from a report published by Ad Dustour daily that showcased the retired corporal's suffering, according to a Royal Court statement.
Khreshah served in the army from 1952 to 1973 and participated in the battle of Sheikh Jarrah, Jerusalem against Israel on June 6, 1967, when he was wounded, the statement said.
His Majesty King Abdullah, Supreme Commander of JAF, has stressed in many occasions on the importance of giving special care to the needs of ex-servicemen and improving their living conditions.
In a Facebook message last month, King Abdullah said: “Your service and sacrifice are the embodiment of the true values of life, integrity and freedom. Our brothers and sisters serving in the Arab Army today are upholding your legacy of bravery, sacrifice and selflessness...”
