Daoud conveys King’s greetings to Jerusalem’s Awqaf employees

AMMAN — Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Sami Daoud on Sunday conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah’s greetings to all Islamic Awqaf employees in Jerusalem and the King’s appreciation for their efforts in maintaining Al Aqsa Mosque and Hashemite projects in the holy city.

During a visit to Palestine that started at Al Aqsa Mosque, Daoud stressed Jordan’s utmost support for the resilience of Palestinians and Jerusalemites, and the Kingdom’s keenness to protect the mosque and Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem under Hashemite Custodianship, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Ibrahim Nasseriddin, assistant director general of the Islamic Awqaf department, praised the stance of King Abdullah, the government and all Jordanians towards Palestine and Jerusalem and its holy sites.
