Darwazah replaces Hafez on RJ board

AMMAN — Saeed Samih Darwazeh was appointed as representative of the Government Shareholding’s Management Company in Royal Jordanian’s board of directors on Sunday, replacing Suleiman Hafez, RJ said in a statement on Monday.

The RJ board will meet on Tuesday, when it is expected that Darwazeh will be elected chairman, succeeding Hafez, the RJ statement said.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Hani Mulki on Monday urged all state employees to fly with the Royal Jordanian airlines, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

In a communiqué, Mulki said the Finance Ministry and the Audit Bureau should monitor compliance with this request.
