Development without gender discrimination essential — Princess Sumaya

AMMAN — HRH Princess Sumaya on Wednesday highlighted the essential role women should play in society’s development.
The Princess was speaking at the inauguration of the two-day Fourth Forum for Female Arab Engineers, which saw the participation of 400 female engineers from 13 Arab countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The princess said that sustainable development is essential for the progress of communities, stressing that development should focus on human potential in society without gender discrimination.
The forum was organised by the Arab Female Engineers’ Committee of the Federation of Arab Engineers, in cooperation with the Jordan Engineers Association.
