Dughmi, Azeri ambassador talk ties

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Abdulkarim Dughmi met Azeri Ambassador to Jordan Eldar Salimov over enhancing bilateral ties in various fields.
Dughmi stressed the importance of the Hashemite Custodianship over Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, highlighting His Majesty King Abdullah's stance towards the Palestinian cause and his efforts to maintain regional security and stability, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The diplomat lauded the Kingdom's efforts towards ensuring peace in the region, expressing his country's keenness to advance bilateral ties that serve the best interests of both nations.
