Eid Al Fitr holiday to start July 5

AMMAN — All ministries and public departments will observe a four-day Eid Al Fitr holiday starting from Tuesday July 5 to July 8, according to a communiqué issued by Prime Minister Hani Mulki on Sunday and carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Eid Al Fitr, the feast marking the end of the fasting month of Ramadan, is due to start on July 5 or July 6, depending on the sighting of the crescent moon of the new lunar month.
