AMMAN — The first convoy of prefabricated trailer homes sent by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) arrived in Gaza on Sunday.
JHCO Secretary General Ayman Mefleh said the 70 trailers, donated by the professional associations, were handed to the Palestinian public works ministry to be given to Gazans.
Mefleh added that the JHCO will be dispatching more convoys soon, noting that it has secured approval to dispatch 2,000 prefabricated trailers.
The assistance will help cover the housing needs of Gazans as winter nears, he said.
