Three flights are expected to arrive on Friday carrying Jordanians who were stranded abroad during the COVID-19 crisis.

Shantir said that these 16 flights represent the first evacuation phase, noting that the next phases will be announced later, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

A total of 1,491 non-Jordanians have left the Kingdom over the past 48 hours, he said.
