Foreign Ministry warns against illegal real estate settlements in Jerusalem

AMMAN — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday reiterated its rejection and condemnation of the so-called "real estate rights settlement and land registration" project in Jerusalem, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.

Warning against violating the property rights of Jerusalemites, the ministry stressed that East Jerusalem has been an occupied land since 1967 in accordance with international law and international resolutions that confirm the invalidity and illegality of all legislative and administrative measures and actions taken by Israel, the occupying power, with the aim of changing the status quo of Jerusalem.
