Former minister suspected in ‘tobacco case’ released on bail

AMMAN — State Security Court Presiding Judge Mohammad Afif on Wednesday ordered the release of ‘tobacco case” suspect and former minister Munir Oweis on a JD100,000 bail, while still keeping his movable and immovable assets seized.
Afif took the decision following a request by Oweis’ lawyer, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
