Gov’t departments, banks to start work at 9:30am

AMMAN — Work at public departments will be delayed from 8am to 9:30am on Wednesday due to the prevailing weather conditions, according to a communiqué issued by Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour.

The decision covers departments in the various governorates except those in Aqaba.

The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) and all operating banks in Jordan will also begin work at 9:30am on Wednesday, CBJ Governor Ziad Fariz said on Tuesday.
