AMMAN — Before the end of the week, the government will launch an e-system for issuing permits to employees in vital sectors who are exempted from the curfew, Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Sami Daoud said on Sunday.
Daoud, during a press briefing at the National Centre for Security and Crisis Management, said that the system will address shortcomings and errors that occurred with the paper permit system after the government discovered that some permits were granted to individuals who do not need them, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The government, with the aim of maintaining transparency and credibility, has assessed the system and benefitted from feedback received from the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and security agencies, Daoud said.
