Guidebooks outline services of Industry Ministry, IT centre

AMMAN – The Ministry of Public Sector Development has prepared guidebooks outlining the services offered by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply and the National Centre for Information Technology, a ministry statement said.

Public Sector Development Minister Khleef Al Khawaldeh said the ministry has so far prepared guidebooks for 33 public institutions, covering 1,256 services, adding that preparing guidebooks for services offered by government agencies is part of a project to identify public services, which is a key pillar of the 2014-2016 executive programme to improve public sector performance.

The guidebooks for the two agencies include information on places to apply for services, the required documents and fees, and the time frame to complete the transaction, according to Khawaldeh.
