AMMAN — All institutions’ working hours will finish at 12 noon on Wednesday due to the forecast weather conditions, according to a circular issued by the Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh on Tuesday.

Taking into consideration the recommendations of the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), Khasawneh decided to suspend the work of all institutions on Thursday. The circular excluded ministries and public institutions, whose work requires otherwise, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Also on Tuesday, the Ministry of Labour called on private sector institutions to apply the circular issued by the prime minister in a way that maintains workers’ health and safety, depending on the institutions’ work, weather conditions and worker’s place of residence, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
