Hammouri, UAE minister of economy discuss enhancing cooperation

AMMAN — Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Tareq Hammouri and the United Arab Emirates' Minister of Economy Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori recently discussed means of enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

The two sides highlighted the importance of increasing intra-regional trade and stimulating the two countries' private sectors to establish joint ventures for the best interests of the two sides, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Tuesday.

Hammouri lauded the UAE's financial support to the Kingdom to assist it in overcoming economic challenges which stem from hosting a large number of Syrian refugees and the ramifications of regional conflicts.
