AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Foundation (JHCF) signed a cooperation agreement on Sunday with the Humanitarian Leadership Academy/England (HLA) to train workers in the humanitarian sector and establish bodies that enable the exchange of expertise, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Sunday.
The HLA will enhance the workers’ Arabic language skills, make them certified trainers in the field, and train them on Kaya, a global humanitarian learning platform, according to Petra.
The news agency also added that the agreement includes facilitating access to learning resources and services based on local needs, promoting local partnerships for learning, identifying innovative approaches to human-related learning that can be widely provided, demonstrating the importance of investment, and building and developing the capacities of individuals and organisations to improve humanitarian response. The first training will take place in October, Petra reported.
