Hawatmeh commends efforts of CDD personnel

AMMAN — Public Security Directorate (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh on Sunday commended the efforts of the Civil Defence Department (CDD) personnel for working around the clock providing service for the citizens and residents.

During a visit to the CDD, Hawatmeh said that since merging the security agencies, priority has been attached to upgrading the CDD, lauding the department’s magnificent efforts in dealing with the pandemic, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

He also instructed them to activate the necessary plans to handle with the depression, expected to affect the Kingdom on Wednesday. Hawatmeh was also briefed on the CDD’s key plans and statistics related to accidents and the provided services, taking a first-hand look on the department’s main operations room.
