AMMAN — HH Prince Mired, the president of the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (HCD), and Director General of the Institute of Public Administration Siham Khawaldeh have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to embark on implementing the second phase of training people with disabilities.
The targeted segment includes those who hold a BA degree in saturated majors and have submitted recruitment applications at the Civil Service Bureau, according to a HCD statement cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, on Sunday.
The first phase of the programme targeted 61 persons with disabilities to provide them with necessary skills and knowledge and train them to join the labour market in the public and private sectors. The second phase targets around 230 people with disabilities who hold a BA degree nationwide. The MoU stipulates implementing entrepreneurship, computer, AI and e-marketing programmes at the practical and theoretical levels.
