House speaker, Iraq parliamentary committee discuss joint action against narcotics

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Ahmad Safadi on Sunday met with Iraq's Parliamentary Anti-Illicit Drug and Psychotropic Substances Committee to discuss joint action to combat drug-related issues. Safadi underlined Jordan's commitment to supporting Iraq in eradicating terrorism and drug-related issues, as well as the importance of collaborative efforts, while Adnan Al Jahishi, head of the Iraqi panel, expressed Iraq’s desire to enhance cooperation, highlighting the key role of the parliamentary committee in this arena.
