House women committee meets Dutch Greenfield Cities over cooperation

AMMAN —The Lower House is keen on enhancing partnership with all international organisations concerned with creating jobs, especially for women, and combating poverty and unemployment, head of the Chamber's Women and Family Affairs Committee Reem Abu Dalbouh said on Tuesday.
The MP's remarks came during a meeting with Regional Director of Dutch Greenfield Cities in Jordan Hedzer Vermaat, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Vermaat said that Greenfield Cities is now implementing a set of water, agriculture, energy and IT projects in Mafraq Governorate, adding that they chose the northeastern city due to its lack of job opportunities, mainly for women, Petra said.
He also called for implementing similar projects in other parts of the country, Petra reported.
