AMMAN — The newly renovated and upgraded inclusive children's park, along with the establishment of a hexagonal playground with German support of JD250,000, was inaugurated at the Martyr Azmi Al Mufti Camp on Wednesday.

Cordula Mielhart, the representative of the German embassy in Amman, highlighted her country's commitment to supporting UNRWA in delivering essential educational and healthcare services to Palestinian refugees. Germany, as the second-largest donor, contributed over $180 million to the agency last year, she noted.

Director of UNRWA Affairs in Jordan Olaf Baker expressed his gratitude for the German support in realising this project.

He also praised the Camp Services Committee’s oversight of the ongoing projects within the camp.
