Incoming remittances see 2.3% rise

AMMAN — The remittances of expatriate Jordanians amounted to $1.5 billion by the end of May, marking a 2.3 per cent increase from approximately $1.466 billion during the same period of 2018, the Central Bank of Jordan said on Monday. Meanwhile, remittances rose by 5 per cent in May, when compared with May of last year, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
