Industry Ministry launches movable assets registration e-service

AMMAN — The Industry, Trade and Supply Ministry, represented by the Directorate of Central Trade Record, on Monday launched a new e-service called “Registry of Interest in Movable Assets” on its website at http://jcr.mit.gov.jo, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The online service was established with funding from the USAID and technical support from the International Finance Corporation.

The new service enables leasing companies to register movable assets as notices and publish them on the website, Petra reported, adding that all registered data is stored online in the system so there is no need for archiving or storing any papers at the ministry.

Any application to obtain an account is submitted on the website without any need to check with the Directorate of Central Trade Record, while the payment is also processed online through the eFawateercom system.
