AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry, through the Jordanian embassy in Cairo, on Tuesday stressed that it is following up with various Egyptian authorities on investigations related to the death of Jordanian actor Ashraf Tolfah in Egypt.
The ministry, in a statement, said that initial information received by the embassy shows that there is no criminal suspicion in the death of Tolfah. The concerned Egyptian authorities informed the embassy that surveillance cameras around Tolfah’s residence showed that no one entered his apartment.
Ministry Spokesperson Sinan Majali said that the medical report issued by the hospital that treated Tolfah prior to his death showed that the causes of death were cerebral haemorrhage, pulmonary edema, panic disorder and extreme drop in blood circulation.
