Interior minister meets Omani, Iraqi counterparts in Algeria

AMMAN — Interior Minister Samir Mubaidin on Wednesday held two separate meetings in Algeria, one with his Omani counterpart Hmoud Bousaidi and another with his Iraqi counterpart Qasim Araji, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Both meetings focused on bilateral ties with their respective countries and regional security issues.
During the meeting, held on the sidelines of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers’ 35th session that concluded on Wednesday, Mubaidin and Bousaidi reviewed current regional developments and challenges, as well as means to boost Jordanian-Omani ties at all levels.
Meanwhile, Mubaidin and Araji discussed measures to enhance bilateral ties in combating extremism and terrorism, enhancing border security, exchanging information and developing trade exchange at the Karameh-Turaibil border crossing.
