Interior Ministry launches strategic development planning tool

AMMAN — The Interior Ministry on Wednesday launched a strategic development planning tool to support the decision-making process at the local and national levels by providing information to decision makers in all sectors, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Interior Ministry Secretary General Samir Mubaideen, who is also the head of the executive decentralisation committee, said that the tool provides information including maps, location analyses, financial budgets, charts and more that can be used by governors, executive and elected councils, whether municipal or governorate councils, in order to plan for local development programmes based on available human and financial resources on the governorate’s level.
