International Affairs Association delegation visits Eastern military zone

AMMAN — A delegation from the Jordanian International Affairs Association (IAA) headed by Abdel Salam Majali on Wednesday visited the Eastern military zone where they were received by the Commander of the Eastern Military Region Br. Gen. Mohammad Bani Yasin and a number of military units leaders, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Bani Yasin briefed the IAA delegation on the tasks and duties carried out by the military unit in protecting and monitoring the Kingdom’s borders and preventing infiltration and smuggling, through its various patrols and electronic monitoring with the latest equipment, according to Petra. Majali commended the high level of professionalism of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and its commitment to the protection of the country and its citizens.
