AMMAN — IOM Jordan recently completed a training of trainers for police officers and labour inspectors from Amman, Irbid, Jerash and Tafileh with the purpose of forming a team of qualified anti-human trafficking trainers, the organisation said in a statement.

IOM also held a parallel meeting with 11 judges and prosecutors on the Anti-Human Trafficking Law to identify gaps and areas for improvement.

The activities took place within the framework of IOM’s regional project on Action to Protect and Assist Vulnerable and Exploited Migrant Workers in the Middle East and North Africa.
