JAF, Water Ministry to establish rainwater harvesting facilities

AMMAN — The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) and Ministry of Water and Irrigation/ Jordan Valley Authority on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at establishing rainwater harvesting facilities.
The two sides, under the memo, which is part of the national efforts towards water security, agreed to exchange expertise and machineries needed to implement the rainwater harvesting facilities, including earth dams, within a specific time table.
