Japan supports army to improve border facilities for refugees

AMMAN — The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) on Monday signed a grant agreement with the Japanese government for an infrastructure project on the north-eastern borders of the Kingdom, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The agreement, which was signed by the JAF and the mission of International Organisation for Migration, aims at supporting the Kingdom’s efforts in safeguarding its borders and people in addition to improving the JAF infrastructure dedicated to help refugees.
