JBA, USAID discuss Economic Reform Activity project

AMMAN — The Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA) and a team from the USAID-funded Economic Reform Activity (ERA) discussed means to advance the project's action plan. The team, including experts in economic reform from the BMCG, a global consulting firm, briefed the gathering on the main aspects and objectives of the project's action plan.
Work is in progress to hold meetings with representatives from Jordan's private sector to learn about their vision and proposals pertaining to the best practices to bolster economic reform efforts, the team said, according to a JBA statement cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The team also highlighted USAID's support for Jordan's development goals through setting political and economic reform strategies towards achieving prosperity, and helping speed up comprehensive economic development and in managing resources more "efficiently".
