AMMAN — Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) President Nael Kabariti and Mexican Ambassador to Jordan Roberto Rodriguez Hernandez on Tuesday discussed ways of boosting trade and investment relations between the two countries.

Kabariti welcomed joint cooperation with Mexico to increase trade exchange and build partnerships and launch investment projects between both countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Kabariti suggested establishing joint factories in the Kingdom to produce complementary industries with Jordanian certificates of origin to facilitate the entry of goods into neighbouring countries and take advantage of trade deals that were signed by the Kingdom with global economic blocs.

Hernandez said that his country is ready to build effective economic relations with Jordan as a gateway to regional markets. He also presented a draft cooperation agreement between the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology and the JCC.
