AMMAN — Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) first vice president Jamal Rifai and Vietnamese non-resident Ambassador to Jordan Vu Viet Dung on Tuesday discussed means of advancing the two countries’ economic relations, with talks focussing on the role of the private sector in this arena.

According to a JCC statement, Rifai expressed the chamber’s preparedness to coordinate with the embassy to exchange information related to investment laws and procedures, as well as to enhance contacts among businesspeople to explore investment fields.

The envoy reiterated that his country seeks to avail the investment options available in Jordan to access the region’s markets.

He also shared with the JCC a business guidebook including a list of Vietnamese companies wishing to export to Amman, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
