Jerusalemites thank Prince Hassan for his support

AMMAN — HRH Prince Hassan, president of the Arab Thought Forum, on Wednesday received a delegation representing Jerusalemite families and the Jerusalem Awqaf and Heritage Preservation Society, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

During the meeting, the delegates presented a letter signed by 115 Jerusalemite families to Prince Hassan, praising his efforts in supporting Jerusalem’s heritage and his humanitarian and cultural role in the framework of the project “Jerusalem in the heart”. 

The attendees reviewed the project, under which various meetings were held with Jerusalemites that “brought positive, life-changing results”.

Prince Hassan thanked the Jerusalemites for their gesture and stressed that the project will continue working on establishing development institutions to boost the steadfastness and resilience of Arab Jerusalemites, Petra reported. 

For their part, the delegates commended Prince Hassan’s efforts in entrenching the Arab, Islamic and Christian identity in Jerusalem. 

Also as part of the project, panel discussions and sessions have been held, with a focus on Jerusalem’s “spiritual and historical status in the hearts of Arabs and Muslims”.
