AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) on Wednesday dispatched an aid convoy to the Palestinian territories. The convoy, consisting of three trucks loaded with medical and relief assistance, was donated by Morocco, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

JHCO Secretary General Hussein Shibli highlighted the organisation’s ongoing efforts to prepare and dispatch humanitarian aid convoys in coordination with the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) to meet the humanitarian needs in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

Moroccan Ambassador to Jordan Sidi Muhammad Naciri said that the aid is dispatched under the directives of King Mohammed VI.

Two Moroccan planes loaded with humanitarian aid for Palestinian people landed in Jordan last Sunday, the diplomat said.
