‘JIAC dealt with 1,328 complaints this year’

AMMAN — The Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIAC) on Sunday said that it dealt with 1,328 complaints this year, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. JIAC investigated 412 cases, of which 22 were referred to the general prosecutor, and retained 462 for suspicion of malicious accusation.
The complaints also include 283 cases that have settlement procedures and 139 that are delayed until 2018. JIAC President Mohammad Allaf said that the commission dealt with cases worth JD125 million during 2017.
