AMMAN — Jordan Investment Commission (JIC) on Sunday signed a memorandum of cooperation with Sindyan Entrepreneurship and Development, according to a JIC statement.

The memorandum, signed by JIC acting Chairman Faridon Hartouqa and Sindyan’s secretary general Fadi Daoud, aims at boosting cooperation between the two parties to exchange expertise, ensure a supporting environment for investment in the Kingdom and promote the concept of social investment.

Hartouqa said that the JIC has established a department to facilitate entrepreneurs’ access to services. Daoud also stressed the importance of the JIC as a national strategic partner, adding that the agreement comes as “one of Sindyan’s most successful achievements in 2020”, ultimately contributing to attaining the organisation’s goals such as encouraging startups, upgrading local living conditions, and increasing Jordanian expatriates’ engagement in establishing and managing developmental projects.
