Jordan’s ambassador to Italy presents credentials

AMMAN — Fayez Khoury on Thursday presented his credentials to the Italian president as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Italian Republic at a reception hosted by the Italian President Sergio at the Quirinal Palace in Rome, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Khoury delivered His Majesty King Abdullah’s greetings to the Italian president and the Italian people, Petra added.

In exchange, the president conveyed his best wishes to His Majesty and the Jordanian people. The president and the ambassador also expressed their desire to strengthen bilateral relations in the economic, cultural and political fields, Petra reported.
