Jordan condemns Taliban attack on schoolchildren

AMMAN — Jordan on Wednesday condemned the Taliban’s brutal terrorist attack on a school in Peshawar, Pakistan on Tuesday, which killed 132 students and nine teachers.
Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani said the attack is a horrific crime that is not related to Islam in any way.
Momani said Jordan will always stand against terrorism and all acts that target innocent and civilian establishments.
Momani expressed the government’s condolences to the families of the victims and the Pakistani government and people.
