AMMAN — The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and the Egyptian Armed Forces on Tuesday started a military drill titled “Aqaba 4”, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The two-week exercise aims at boosting the relations between the armies of both countries and training the troops in conducting joint security-related tasks.

Troops, around 611 in total from both countries, will be training in activities designed to deal with the current regional situation, the agency said.
