Jordan hails Saudi mediation in Cairo-Doha rift

AMMAN — Jordan on Sunday said that it “highly values” Saudi Arabia’s mediation efforts that led to rapprochement between Egypt and Qatar.
The Jordan News Agency, Petra, quoted Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh as thanking Saudi King Abdullah Bin Abdel Aziz for “mending and strengthening the ties between Egypt and Qatar”.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a Jordan-Emirati ministerial meeting in Amman, Judeh reiterated Jordan’s “keenness to enhance pan-Arab solidarity in the best interests of the Arab and Muslim nations”.
